Who can carry the message to Garcia?

In the story made famous by Dan Kennedy, becoming the go-to guy or surrounding yourself with reliable people becomes invaluable asset.

There are two choices when faced with a situation in life. One is about yourself; are you the type of person who always gets the message to Garcia, who will not take no for an answer, who will react decisively to a treat, deal decisively with situations? Are you a reliable performer and not wimp out to excuses.

The other choice is, what type of people do you allow inside your world? What about the people you rely on, work with and trust? Dan Kennedy gives this advice: “when someone returns with excuses and an undelivered message, don’t give him another one to deliver. Just put a bullet between his eyes and try another messenger.”
